How much does an industrial pump cost?
The price of an industrial pump depends on pump type, duty point and materials, as well as on sealing and scope of supply: a bare-shaft pump and a complete skid package with instrumentation and documentation are different budgets. What drives the price of an industrial pump
Pump type
Gear (positive displacement for viscous fluids), centrifugal (high flow), thermal oil (up to 350 °C) and fire-fighting systems have distinct constructions and cost levels.
Duty point (flow × pressure)
Flow and pressure/head define pump size, flange diameters and motor power — the largest cost components.
Wetted materials
Cast iron (standard) → carbon steel → AISI 316 stainless → special alloys: each material step follows fluid corrosivity and temperature.
Sealing
Packing, single mechanical seal, cartridge seal, metal-bellows seal or magnetic drive — defined by fluid, temperature and available NPSH.
Scope of supply
Bare-shaft pump, complete motor-pump unit on baseplate, or piped and instrumented skid; additional tests and documentation (Petrobras/EPC projects) extend the scope.
The price is given in the technical-commercial proposal from engineering, after the application review: gear, centrifugal, standardized and high-temperature pumps and engineered-to-order packages are quoted per duty point and scope of supply.
What is the price range of an industrial pump in Brazil?
There is no single range: the value changes with duty point (flow × pressure), materials and sealing, and with the scope, which goes from a bare-shaft pump to a complete system with skid, instrumentation and engineering documentation. That is why manufacturers quote per application, and FB Bombas gives the price in the technical-commercial proposal after the engineering review.
Why does FB Bombas not publish a price list?
Because every industrial pump is sized for a specific duty point: fluid, viscosity, flow, pressure, temperature and available NPSH change the size, materials and sealing — and therefore the value. What information do I need to provide?

Does FB Bombas manufacture custom pumps?
Yes. In addition to standard FBE, FBCN and FBOT lines, we manufacture pumps with custom specifications for special applications. Consult our technical team.
