FB Bombas Custom Solutions are tailor-made pumping projects for applications that fall outside the standard line: mobile cart-mounted units with diesel or electric motor for emergency, dewatering or temporary transfer use; manufactured skids with integrated control panel, instrumentation and piping; retrofit of legacy pumps from any manufacturer; and special engineering for critical fluids, non-standard configurations or oversized assemblies. Each project starts with a technical briefing, goes through CAD validation with our engineering team, is manufactured and tested on our own bench (documented FAT) before delivery.

How we design a custom solution
Every project starts on a process spreadsheet and ends on our own bench. Briefing → memorial → manufacturing → testing → shipping. All traceable, all under API 610 11th ed..
The technical briefing defines the entire project
Before any drawing, we validate: fluid (composition, viscosity at operating temperature, solids, abrasiveness), demand curve (flow, pressure, available NPSH), mechanical and electrical interfaces (flange, voltage, frequency, area classification) and what the set must deliver in the field (continuous duty, starts/hour, expected maintenance).
- 14-point fluid analysis (pH, viscosity × T, solids, NPSH)
- Base series selection: FBE/FBEI for viscous, FBCN API 610 for process, FBOT up to 350 °C
- Hazardous area classification (Ex d/Ex e) when applicable
- Milestone-driven approval timeline: memorial, P&ID, assembly, testing
Skid, retrofit or mobile set — choice driven by the operation
We do not sell shelf product. Deliverable format depends on the customer scenario: skid when there is available footprint and continuous demand; retrofit when the customer already has foundation and piping; mobile set when operation migrates between fronts (well maintenance, emergency transfer, CIP cleaning).
