Every project starts on a process spreadsheet and ends on our own bench. Briefing → memorial → manufacturing → testing → shipping. All traceable, with documented testing on our own bench.
Before any drawing, we validate: fluid (composition, viscosity at operating temperature, solids, abrasiveness), demand curve (flow, pressure, available NPSH), mechanical and electrical interfaces (flange, voltage, frequency, area classification) and what the set must deliver in the field (continuous duty, starts/hour, expected maintenance).
We do not sell shelf product. Deliverable format depends on the customer scenario: skid when there is available footprint and continuous demand; retrofit when the customer already has foundation and piping; mobile set when operation migrates between fronts (well maintenance, emergency transfer, line flushing).
Every custom solution goes through the same acceptance protocol as the catalog series: for performance, hydrostatic at 1.5× design pressure at critical points. The customer receives the actual measured curve — not just the extrapolated rated curve.

API 610 is the standard for centrifugal pumps in petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas services. At FB Bombas it enters as a special project requirement: engineering evaluates the request requirement by requirement — materials, sealing per API 682, seal plans, witnessed tests — and documents in the project memorial what is met in full and what is met by an equivalent alternative, for the customer to decide. API 610 compliance is not a universal attribute of the catalog FBCN or FBOT lines: the catalog FBCN follows ASME B73.1, and API 610 compliance is defined case by case in the project.

Every set undergoes: (1) H × Q × η × NPSH curve measured on our own bench; (2) hydrostatic pressure at 1.5× design pressure, 30 minutes with no drop; (3) dimensional conformity check with CMM before final paint; (4) vibration and noise assessment with the pump in water at the operating point. The application engineering team validates the specification against the chemical compatibility table of the fluid provided by the customer.
