Material selection is the most critical engineering decision in custom pumps. FB Bombas performs chemical analysis of the customer fluid (pH, chlorides, solids, temperature, flow velocity) and selects the appropriate technical material among cast iron FC-250, stainless CF8M/316, CA-15/410, carbon steel A216 WCB, ductile iron A536 or ASTM B584 bronze. Every cast alloy undergoes PMI (Positive Material Identification) spectrographic verification and chemical certification per origin standard (ASTM/ASME) — complete traceability from casting heat to final part.
