Special Materials Project
Pumps in Duplex, Super Duplex, Hastelloy, Inconel or special alloys — cast and machined in-house
Complete pump design in alloys resistant to severe corrosion, high temperatures or extreme abrasion. FB Bombas has its own foundry with capacity to process noble alloys — Duplex 2205, Super Duplex 2507, Hastelloy C-276, Inconel 625, CD4MCu and aluminum bronze — with PMI (Positive Material Identification) spectrographic verification of base metal. The project starts with chemical analysis of the fluid and operating conditions, followed by technical material selection and manufacturing with full traceability from alloy to non-destructive testing (PT/MT/RT) of parts.
