Construction and Materials
The pump body, covers and gears are available in grey cast iron, ductile cast iron, carbon steel or stainless steel 316. Shaft sealing options include single or double mechanical seals, packing gland, or magnetic coupling for zero-leakage requirements. Heating jackets on body and covers allow operation with high-viscosity fluids such as asphalt, molten sulfur, resins and heavy fuel oil.
Performance and Sizing

FB Bombas provides free technical support for pump selection, including NPSH verification, power calculation and material compatibility analysis. Performance curves are measured on the manufacturer own test bench in Cabreúva, São Paulo, Brazil. Delivery lead time ranges from 12 to 20 weeks depending on materials and accessories.
