The FBCN-150-315 is the FBCN family model with nominal suction diameter DN200 mm and discharge DN150 mm. Standard family version. Part of the 43 standardized pumps of the FBCN series manufactured by FB Bombas in Cabreúva/SP since 1944.
The heavy-duty range of the FBCN — DN200 and DN250 — handles large industrial plants and major municipal infrastructure. Flow rates above 700 m³/h, motors between 110 and 400 kW, and mechanical requirements that put the assembly at the edge of ASME B73.1 (above this range it moves into pure API 610 scope).
On DN200 and DN250 axial and radial hydraulic loads demand oversized bearings and robust baseplates — FB Bombas sizes the bearing group case by case based on duty point and RPM. Yearly electrical cost on a pump this size exceeds capex within a few years, justifying VFD investment for off-BEP operation and high-performance industrial coating for long life. For seawater and highly corrosive fluids duplex (UNS S32750) or super duplex are specified on request. Handling the rotating assembly (impeller + shaft + sleeve) requires dedicated tooling.

Corpo de forma espiral, fundido em única peça e apoiado sobre pés próprios. Possui anel de desgaste do lado da sucção.
O rotor é tipo radial, de simples sucção, possuindo um anel de desgaste no lado pressão. Exceto para os tamanhos 25-150, 32-125 e 32-125.1.
O eixo é montado com a luva de proteção na região de selagem. Pode ser utilizado gaxetas ou selo mecânico para vedação. Para fluidos com sólidos em suspensão deve ser consultado a FB.
