When there is a plant shutdown in Pacajá, FB Bombas triggers an emergency flow dedicated to critical parts (mechanical seal, impeller, shaft, wear ring, bearings): the order gets pre-invoicing, dispatch is prioritized and the modal can change — express road or air, decided by distance and criticality. The region defines the typical lead time, with a window negotiable for each case. For those with an installed base and scheduled PM, there is the option of consigning part of the stock at the plant.

Yes. The FBCN series complies with ASME B73.1 (North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps) — which enables retrofit on existing baseplates in Pacajá plants, whoever manufactured the installed unit, provided the dimension designation matches. Shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the standard: the complete FBCN pump goes in and piping and baseplate stay put.

It depends on the configuration: standard-arrangement pumps have shorter lead times, while special constructions follow the schedule stated in the technical proposal. The deciding factor is the combination of series, materials and stock availability — and transport to Pacajá goes through our regular road operator.

Across the duty ranges currently held by imported lines, the FBCN (centrifugal), FBE/FBEI (gear) and FBOT (thermal oil) series offer equivalent coverage, with better lead times by dispensing with imports, factory-direct technical support, spare parts for FB pumps and Portuguese-speaking application engineering. On a normalized pump, the existing baseplate is preserved when the ASME B73.1 dimension designation matches — which the standard makes independent of the installed brand.

It offers both. The FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) takes place on the Cabreúva/SP bench and covers hydraulic testing, characteristic-curve measurement (Q × H), hydraulic efficiency, NPSHr and ISO 10816 vibration; when the customer specifies, inspection witnesses the tests. In the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) of Pacajá projects, application engineering supports commissioning with startup checklist, laser alignment and capture of the baseline vibration signature.

Mechanical seal configuration is defined by engineering according to the fluid, temperature and operating pressure. Options include single seals, double seals (tandem or back-to-back), cartridge seals and packing glands for specific applications. For hazardous fluids, double seals with barrier are recommended.
