Three fluid fronts are covered by the FB series. FBE: mineral and synthetic oils, asphalt (CAP), BPF fuel oils, petroleum derivatives, molasses, resins, viscous chemical and hydraulic products. FBCN: raw and treated water, process fluids and industrial effluents. FBOT: thermal oil at elevated temperatures. Fluid viscosity, temperature and chemical compatibility guide the sizing of every application.

Shipment is by road via BR-010 / BR-153 Rodovia Belém-Brasília, with industrial packaging suited to the journey and tracking until delivery. Yes. A complete technical Data Book accompanies each FB Bombas pump that reaches Anapu: hydraulic test certificate, material certificates (stainless steel, duplex and ductile cast iron per spec), ISO 21940 G2.5 balancing report, characteristic curve measured on the test bench, API 682 mechanical-seal data sheets, operation and maintenance manual and as-built drawings. The unit serial number traces all this documentation.

Yes. FB Bombas offers technical training for operations and maintenance teams in Anapu, with modules on: sizing and reading the characteristic curve, identifying cavitation through NPSH, mechanical-seal troubleshooting, laser alignment, ISO 10816 vibration analysis and PM (preventive maintenance) practice with bearing and wear-ring replacement. Training can be delivered at the customer plant or at the Cabreúva/SP factory, in person or hybrid.

Limits vary by series. FBE and FBEI: up to 350°C, provided a heating jacket and special sealing are used. FBOT: up to 350°C in thermal oil circuits. FBCN: up to 260°C, with materials and sealing suited to the service. Well-sized sealing and materials are a condition for safe operation in these ranges.

FB Bombas' rotating set balancing follows ISO 21940 G2.5 — a grade equivalent to the API 610 requirement for heavy-duty service. It is the level demanded in critical Anapu projects: continuous regime, plants with online vibration monitoring or operations where unplanned downtime is expensive. Above 3,600 RPM or with rotating mass beyond 50 kg, balancing is done on two planes, with a piezoelectric sensor.

Yes, when the dimension designation matches. The FBCN series follows ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), which requires pumps of the same designation, from any source of supply, to be interchangeable as to mounting dimensions, suction and discharge nozzles, input shaft, baseplate and foundation bolt holes — in Anapu plants this applies to the installed normalized fleet. FB Bombas supplies the complete pump, not loose parts: baseplate, piping and foundation stay, and a new FBCN goes in. Before supply, application engineering checks the duty point (Q×H), available NPSH and flange class — a matching designation alone does not guarantee hydraulic equivalence.

Sizing is performed by FB Bombas’ application engineering team based on four key variables: desired flow, differential pressure, working temperature and fluid viscosity.
