Table 1 of technical manual MTEC-03/00 (p. 5) gives FBCN 100-500 bearing frame 70, a maximum speed of 1,750 rpm, ANSI B16.1 125 lb FF flanges in cast iron and ANSI B16.5/B16.42 150 lb RF flanges in steel and ductile iron, and an approximate weight of 225 kg in cast iron and 245 kg in steel. By the manual’s designation (p. 1), the discharge is DN100. Table 7 (p. 14) gives no dimensions for this size: request the dimensional sheet from FB Bombas.
FBCN 100-500 uses bearing frame 70, with C3-clearance radial ball bearings. The sealing chamber has 1/2" packing, chamber Ø105 mm with sleeve Ø80 mm and length 90.5 mm. Sealing is by packing or mechanical seal. Data from Table 1 of technical manual MTEC-03/00, page 5.
FBCN 100-500 appears in the manual’s 1750 rpm quick-selection chart (p. 3), but the official curve catalog does not include this model. To select it, send flow, total head, fluid, temperature and NPSH available; FB Bombas engineering confirms the operating point. Request the curve and the dimensional sheet before final specification.
The FBCN Technical Manual MTEC-03/00 describes mechanical construction per ASME B73.1 and a back pull-out arrangement. Confirm the configuration, materials and documents required by your project in the quotation.
Share the installation conditions to assess this model and prepare your quotation. The form carries the selected pump reference.
