The FBCN series complies with ASME B73.1 (North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps) — a feature that enables dimensional retrofit on existing baseplates in Vacaria plants originally equipped with KSB, Sulzer, Goulds or Flowserve. Shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the standard; the rotating set is swapped without changing piping or baseplate.

Yes. Sizing is performed by FB Bombas’ application engineering team based on four key variables: desired flow, differential pressure, working temperature and fluid viscosity. Additional data such as available NPSH, operating cycle and fluid chemical compatibility are also considered. The service is free of charge for customers in Vacaria.
