Construction features

  • Axially assembled stage casings are held together by external tie rods and flat gaskets. Closed radial single-suction impellers work with diffusers. Configurations include packing or mechanical seals, with grease- or oil-lubricated bearings.
  • FBME 4/3 denotes a 4-inch discharge and three stages.

Sealing options

  • Uncooled packing: −10 to 105 °C.
  • Cooled packing: 105 to 140 °C.
  • Mechanical seal: consult the seal manufacturer; manual limit of 140 °C.
