The ASME B73.1 normalization (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps) adopted in the FBCN series makes the pump-and-motor set swappable with KSB, Sulzer, Goulds and Flowserve units already operating in Pelotas plants. In a typical retrofit, baseplate, suction/discharge piping and foundations are preserved — only the rotating set is replaced. The dimensional gap analysis is executed by FB application engineering before supplying.
