Full traceability happens through the serial number.

There is no single configuration — engineering selects the mechanical seal based on the fluid, temperature and operating pressure. The range includes single seals, double seals in tandem or back-to-back arrangement, cartridge seals and packing glands in specific applications. When the fluid is hazardous, the recommendation is a double seal with barrier.

Shipment is by road via BR-101 (via PE), with industrial packaging suited to the journey and tracking until delivery. Sizing, proposal and technical support run in parallel through remote channels — distance does not change the engineering scope, only the logistics planning, reflected in the proposal schedule.

Each series has its thermal limit: with heating jacket and special sealing, FBE and FBEI reach 350°C; FBOT hits the same 350°C in thermal oil circuits; FBCN goes up to 260°C when fitted with proper materials and sealing. Safe operation requires correctly sized sealing and materials.

Yes, when the dimension designation matches. The FBCN series follows ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), which requires pumps of the same designation, from any source of supply, to be interchangeable as to mounting dimensions, suction and discharge nozzles, input shaft, baseplate and foundation bolt holes — in Alagoa Nova plants this applies to the installed normalized fleet. FB Bombas supplies the complete pump, not loose parts: baseplate, piping and foundation stay, and a new FBCN goes in. Before supply, application engineering checks the duty point (Q×H), available NPSH and flange class — a matching designation alone does not guarantee hydraulic equivalence.

Credentials include an active Petrobras CRCC, API 676 compliance on the FBE gear line, ASME B73.1 compliance on the FBCN centrifugal and adherence to NFPA 20 and NBR 16704 on fire-fighting systems. Technical documentation and data book accompany supplies upon requirement.
