The FBCN series follows ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), which requires pumps of the same designation, from any source of supply, to be interchangeable as to mounting dimensions, suction and discharge nozzles, input shaft, baseplate and foundation bolt holes — in Vitória plants this applies to the installed normalized fleet. FB Bombas supplies the complete pump, not loose parts: baseplate, piping and foundation stay, and a new FBCN goes in. Before supply, application engineering checks the duty point (Q×H), available NPSH and flange class — a matching designation alone does not guarantee hydraulic equivalence.
