FBEI Technical Manual
Internal Gear Pump — Official installation, operation and maintenance manual for the FBEI line
The FBEI manual documents the "gear-within-gear" principle: teeth form an equidistant seal between suction and discharge, ensuring absolute volumetric control. Covers transport, storage, installation, operation and alignment of the assembly.

Construction features
- Gear-within-gear principle — rotor with external teeth inside a gear with internal teeth
- Equidistant seal formed by teeth between suction and discharge (absolute volumetric control)
- Integrated relief valve with adjustment-screw protection cover facing the suction side
- Optional heating jacket — steam up to 185°C / 10 bar or thermal fluid up to 232°C / 10 bar
- Weight from 9 kg (GG1 model · 1") to 272 kg (M4 model · 4") depending on size
- Installation: 40-80 mesh strainer on suction (depending on model), flexible piping, pressure/flow control mandatory for pumps without relief valve
Sealing options
- Mechanical seal — with cover, bearing and lip seal
- Gland packing — with adjustable gland

Who is this manual for
Maintenance engineers, plant operators and commissioning technicians for applications where reduced pulsation is critical (dosing, precise transfer, continuous processes).
When to use
Read before installing (suction checklist, alignment, relief valve), before startup (rotation, voltage, temperature checks) and to plan spare parts (official 2-year operation list).
