It is compatible when the dimension designation is the same. ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), adopted in the FBCN series, defines an envelope common to the whole normalized fleet operating in Guaíra plants, whoever manufactured the installed unit. In a typical retrofit, baseplate, suction/discharge piping and foundations are preserved, and FB Bombas supplies the complete new pump — not loose parts for third-party equipment. The dimensional and hydraulic gap analysis is executed by application engineering before supplying.

Yes. On the factory bench in Cabreúva/SP the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is carried out: hydraulic test with characteristic-curve measurement (Q × H), hydraulic efficiency, NPSHr and ISO 10816 vibration — witnessed by customer inspection when specified. The SAT (Site Acceptance Test) on Guaíra projects counts on application engineering during commissioning, including startup checklist, laser alignment and recording of the baseline vibration signature.

Yes. FB Bombas manufactures pumps for stationary fire protection systems in compliance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and ABNT NBR 16704 standards, serving building and industrial projects that require these certifications.

They do. The FBCN series dimensionally meets ASME B73.1, the North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps. In practice, a Guaíra plant running a normalized pump of the same designation achieves retrofit on the already-installed baseplate: since shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the same standard, the FBCN pump takes the place of the previous one — piping and baseplate stay intact. Hydraulic equivalence (Q×H and NPSH) is checked separately, on the data sheet.

It does. The standard used is ISO 10816, with velocity RMS in mm/s, and the diagnosis — conducted by FB Bombas application engineering — identifies misalignment, imbalance, bearing defects and cavitation on pumps operating in Guaíra. At startup the baseline is captured; in PM campaigns, spectral comparison is performed; and interventions (re-balancing, bearing replacement, laser alignment) are recommended before vibration enters zone D.
