It offers both. The FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) takes place on the Cabreúva/SP bench and covers hydraulic testing, characteristic-curve measurement (Q × H), hydraulic efficiency, NPSHr and ISO 10816 vibration; when the customer specifies, inspection witnesses the tests. In the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) of Cambuci projects, application engineering supports commissioning with startup checklist, laser alignment and capture of the baseline vibration signature.

Each series has its thermal limit: with heating jacket and special sealing, FBE and FBEI reach 350°C; FBOT hits the same 350°C in thermal oil circuits; FBCN goes up to 260°C when fitted with proper materials and sealing. Safe operation requires correctly sized sealing and materials.

It does. FB Bombas' retrofit service for existing installations encompasses updated seals, replaced worn components, adjustment to new fluids and improved hydraulic performance. To evaluate each case, the reference is the technical report on the current installation.

It depends on the configuration: standard-arrangement pumps have shorter lead times, while special constructions follow the schedule stated in the technical proposal. The deciding factor is the combination of series, materials and stock availability — and transport to Cambuci goes through our regular road operator.

Three fluid fronts are covered by the FB series. FBE: mineral and synthetic oils, asphalt (CAP), BPF fuel oils, petroleum derivatives, molasses, resins, viscous chemical and hydraulic products. FBCN: raw and treated water, process fluids and industrial effluents. FBOT: thermal oil at elevated temperatures. Fluid viscosity, temperature and chemical compatibility guide the sizing of every application.

Four families are manufactured in Cabreúva/SP: external gear FBE and internal gear FBEI for viscous fluids, standardized centrifugal FBCN for low-viscosity liquids and FBOT for thermal oil circuits up to 350 °C. Fire-fighting systems per NFPA 20 / NBR 16704 complete the line.

They do. The FBCN series dimensionally meets ASME B73.1, the North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps. In practice, a Cambuci plant running a normalized pump of the same designation achieves retrofit on the already-installed baseplate: since shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the same standard, the FBCN pump takes the place of the previous one — piping and baseplate stay intact. Hydraulic equivalence (Q×H and NPSH) is checked separately, on the data sheet.
