FBCN Centrifugal Pumps in Inhuma

The FB line covers a wide range: mineral and synthetic oils, asphalt (CAP), BPF fuel oils, petroleum derivatives, molasses, resins, viscous chemical and hydraulic products (FBE series); raw and treated water, process fluids, industrial effluents (FBCN series); thermal oil at elevated temperatures (FBOT series). Each application is sized according to fluid viscosity, temperature and chemical compatibility.

Mechanical seal configuration is defined by engineering according to the fluid, temperature and operating pressure. Options include single seals, double seals (tandem or back-to-back), cartridge seals and packing glands for specific applications. For hazardous fluids, double seals with barrier are recommended.

Four pillars: a current Petrobras CRCC registration for Oil & Gas; API 676 (positive displacement) on the FBE series; ASME B73.1 (process centrifugals) on the FBCN series; and NFPA 20 / NBR 16704 compliance for stationary fire pumps.

Lead time depends on the chosen series, construction materials and stock availability. For standard configuration pumps, lead times are shorter; for special or custom constructions, the schedule is informed in the technical proposal. Logistics for Inhuma is handled by our regular road operator.

FB Bombas is a Brazilian manufacturer accredited in FINAME (BNDES Special Industrial Financing Agency), which qualifies equipment supplied to Inhuma for BNDES Finame financing lines (Industrial Working Capital, Modernization, Capital Goods) with preferential conditions for national industry. The commercial team provides the product FINAME code on the technical proposal for inclusion in the customer financial plan.

Every FB pump leaves the factory with a warranty against manufacturing defects, under the terms detailed in the commercial proposal. The condition is that installation, operation and maintenance respect the manual's parameters and the sizing defined by engineering. Yes. On the factory bench in Cabreúva/SP the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is carried out: hydraulic test with characteristic-curve measurement (Q × H), hydraulic efficiency, NPSHr and ISO 10816 vibration — witnessed by customer inspection when specified. The SAT (Site Acceptance Test) on Inhuma projects counts on application engineering during commissioning, including startup checklist, laser alignment and recording of the baseline vibration signature.

Yes. The FBCN series complies with ASME B73.1 (North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps) — a feature that enables dimensional retrofit on existing baseplates in Inhuma plants originally equipped with KSB, Sulzer, Goulds or Flowserve. Shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the standard; the rotating set is swapped without changing piping or baseplate.
