FB pumps are supplied with a warranty against manufacturing defects according to the terms detailed in the commercial proposal. The warranty assumes installation, operation and maintenance within the parameters specified in the manual and sizing performed by engineering. Yes. FB Bombas offers technical training for operations and maintenance teams in Custódia, with modules on: sizing and reading the characteristic curve, identifying cavitation through NPSH, mechanical-seal troubleshooting, laser alignment, ISO 10816 vibration analysis and PM (preventive maintenance) practice with bearing and wear-ring replacement. Training can be delivered at the customer plant or at the Cabreúva/SP factory, in person or hybrid.

Yes. The FBCN series complies with ASME B73.1 (North American standard for horizontal end-suction process centrifugal pumps) — a feature that enables dimensional retrofit on existing baseplates in Custódia plants originally equipped with KSB, Sulzer, Goulds or Flowserve. Shaft dimensions, suction/discharge flanges, casing feet and impeller centerline follow the standard; the rotating set is swapped without changing piping or baseplate.

Mechanical seal configuration is defined by engineering according to the fluid, temperature and operating pressure. Options include single seals, double seals (tandem or back-to-back), cartridge seals and packing glands for specific applications. For hazardous fluids, double seals with barrier are recommended.

Yes. In addition to the standard portfolio, FB Bombas develops custom solutions for special applications, including modifications in construction materials, sealing arrangements, integrated heating systems, skids, mobile assemblies and retrofit of existing installations. Special projects go through engineering before manufacturing.

Yes. FB Bombas manufactures pumps for stationary fire protection systems in compliance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and ABNT NBR 16704 standards, serving building and industrial projects that require these certifications.

Yes. The FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is executed on the factory bench in Cabreúva/SP, with hydraulic test, characteristic-curve measurement (Q × H), hydraulic efficiency, NPSHr and ISO 10816 vibration — witnessed by customer inspection when specified. For projects in Custódia, the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) is supported by application engineering during commissioning, with startup checklist, laser alignment and baseline vibration-signature capture.

Yes. FB Bombas serves Custódia and the entire surrounding region with supply, technical support and replacement parts directly from the factory in Cabreúva/SP. Support includes sizing at no cost and, for critical projects, on-site technical visits.

The FB line covers a wide range: mineral and synthetic oils, asphalt (CAP), BPF fuel oils, petroleum derivatives, molasses, resins, viscous chemical and hydraulic products (FBE series); raw and treated water, process fluids, industrial effluents (FBCN series); thermal oil at elevated temperatures (FBOT series). Each application is sized according to fluid viscosity, temperature and chemical compatibility.

Lead time depends on the chosen series, construction materials and stock availability. For standard configuration pumps, lead times are shorter; for special or custom constructions, the schedule is informed in the technical proposal. Logistics for Custódia is handled by our regular road operator.
