For special applications, FB Bombas engineers custom solutions: changes in construction materials, sealing arrangements, integrated heating systems, skids, mobile assemblies and retrofit of existing installations. Before manufacturing, every special project is validated by engineering.

When there is a plant shutdown in Canarana, FB Bombas triggers an emergency flow dedicated to critical parts (mechanical seal, impeller, shaft, wear ring, bearings): the order gets pre-invoicing, dispatch is prioritized and the modal can change — express road or air, decided by distance and criticality. Yes, when the dimension designation matches. The FBCN series follows ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), which requires pumps of the same designation, from any source of supply, to be interchangeable as to mounting dimensions, suction and discharge nozzles, input shaft, baseplate and foundation bolt holes — in Canarana plants this applies to the installed normalized fleet. FB Bombas supplies the complete pump, not loose parts: baseplate, piping and foundation stay, and a new FBCN goes in. Before supply, application engineering checks the duty point (Q×H), available NPSH and flange class — a matching designation alone does not guarantee hydraulic equivalence.

Maximum temperature depends on the series: FBE and FBEI operate up to 350°C with heating jacket and special sealing; FBOT operates up to 350°C in thermal oil circuits; FBCN operates up to 260°C with proper materials and sealing. Correct sizing of sealing and materials is essential for safe operation.

Yes. As a Brazilian manufacturer accredited in FINAME — the BNDES Special Industrial Financing Agency —, FB Bombas qualifies equipment supplied to Canarana for BNDES Finame financing lines (Industrial Working Capital, Modernization, Capital Goods), with preferential conditions for national industry.
