It is compatible when the dimension designation is the same. ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), adopted in the FBCN series, defines an envelope common to the whole normalized fleet operating in Ipixuna plants, whoever manufactured the installed unit. A complete technical Data Book accompanies each FB Bombas pump that reaches Ipixuna: hydraulic test certificate, material certificates (stainless steel, duplex and ductile cast iron per spec), ISO 21940 G2.5 balancing report, characteristic curve measured on the test bench, API 682 mechanical-seal data sheets, operation and maintenance manual and as-built drawings. Yes. FB Bombas’ application engineering analyzes the installed pump specifications (flow, pressure, viscosity, temperature) and proposes dimensional or functional technical equivalence with one of our series. FB Bombas is a Brazilian manufacturer accredited in FINAME (BNDES Special Industrial Financing Agency), which qualifies equipment supplied to Ipixuna for BNDES Finame financing lines (Industrial Working Capital, Modernization, Capital Goods) with preferential conditions for national industry. Four families are manufactured in Cabreúva/SP: external gear FBE and internal gear FBEI for viscous fluids, standardized centrifugal FBCN for low-viscosity liquids and FBOT for thermal oil circuits up to 350 °C. Fire-fighting systems per NFPA 20 / NBR 16704 complete the line.

Limits vary by series. FBE and FBEI: up to 350°C, provided a heating jacket and special sealing are used. FBOT: up to 350°C in thermal oil circuits. FBCN: up to 260°C, with materials and sealing suited to the service. Well-sized sealing and materials are a condition for safe operation in these ranges.
