The standard used is ISO 10816, with velocity RMS in mm/s, and the diagnosis — conducted by FB Bombas application engineering — identifies misalignment, imbalance, bearing defects and cavitation on pumps operating in Jaguarão. At startup the baseline is captured; in PM campaigns, spectral comparison is performed; and interventions (re-balancing, bearing replacement, laser alignment) are recommended before vibration enters zone D.

Yes, when the dimension designation matches. The FBCN series follows ASME B73.1 (North American dimensional standard for end-suction process pumps), which requires pumps of the same designation, from any source of supply, to be interchangeable as to mounting dimensions, suction and discharge nozzles, input shaft, baseplate and foundation bolt holes — in Jaguarão plants this applies to the installed normalized fleet. FB Bombas supplies the complete pump, not loose parts: baseplate, piping and foundation stay, and a new FBCN goes in. Before supply, application engineering checks the duty point (Q×H), available NPSH and flange class — a matching designation alone does not guarantee hydraulic equivalence.
