Complete fire fighting systems with centrifugal pump, diesel and/or electric motor, automatic control panel and accessories. Designed per NFPA 20, NBR 10897 and ABNT NBR 16704.
FB Bombas Fire-Fighting Systems are complete motor-pump assemblies designed per NFPA 20 (international standard), ABNT NBR 10897 (sprinklers), NBR 13714 (hydrants) and NBR 16704 (fire pumps). We supply individual pumps with electric or diesel motor to complete systems with automatic control panel, valves, gauges, jockey pump for pressurization, welded structural base and instrumentation — all factory pre-assembled, aligned and tested. Applications: industrial plants, refineries, fuel terminals, logistics warehouses, shopping centers, hospitals, condominiums, hotels and any installation subject to the Fire Safety Code.
From individual components to complete skid-mounted systems

Complete system with diesel engine, centrifugal pump, discharge piping with gate and check valves, automatic control panel, metal cover and structural base (skid).

Fire centrifugal pump with electric motor, yellow coupling guard and safety red painted steel base. FB logo on volute. Ready for installation.

Cast iron body with spiral volute, bolted ANSI flanges and back pull-out design. Safety red paint (NR-26) with FB logo. Same robust FBCN series construction.

Fire centrifugal pumps in safety red paint (NR-26) packed on pallet, ready for shipping. Own production at FB Bombas factory in Cabreúva-SP.

Complete fire fighting systems ready for customer delivery. Assembled sets with pump, motor and structural base fully manufactured by FB Bombas.

Integrated components per NFPA 20 and NBR 10897 standards
Main Pump
FBCN series-based centrifugal pump, painted in safety red (NR-26). Sized for the flow and pressure required by the system.
Diesel Engine
Independent from the power grid. Automatic start on pressure drop. Fuel tank external to the pump house per current standards.
Electric Motor
High-efficiency WEG motor, painted in red. Main drive in systems with guaranteed power supply or as secondary pump.
Control Panel
Automatic panel per NFPA 20. Monitors pressure, activates jockey and main pumps, manages visual and audible alarms.
Jockey Pump
Pressurization pump that maintains constant network pressure. Prevents unnecessary main pump activation. Automatic operation.
Accessories
Gate, check and relief valves, pressure gauges, test connections, metal cover (diesel), interconnecting piping and structural base (skid).

Solutions for each required protection level
Electric Pump + Jockey
For installations with guaranteed electrical power (generator). Electric main pump + jockey pump + control panel. Most compact solution.
Ideal: Commercial buildings, hospitals
Diesel Pump + Jockey
Independent from power grid. Diesel engine with automatic start, exhaust and metal cover. External fuel tank per current standards.
Ideal: Industries, warehouses, remote areas
Electric + Diesel + Jockey
Maximum redundancy: electric main pump + diesel backup pump + jockey. Two independent panels. Full NFPA 20 compliance.
Ideal: Petrochemical, refineries, high criticality
Compliance with major national and international standards
Installation of stationary pumps for fire protection
Fire protection systems with automatic sprinklers
Hydrant and hose reel systems for fire fighting
Safety signage - Identification colors (red = fire)
Fire Department Technical Instructions (sprinklers and hydrants)
Monitoring and activation per NFPA 20
Pressure Monitoring
Calibrated pressure switches activate jockey and main pumps automatically on network pressure drop.
Alarms & Signaling
Visual (LEDs) and audible (siren) indication for: pump running, start failure, phase reversal, fuel level.
Sequential Start
If jockey pump doesn't meet demand, activates electric main pump. If insufficient, activates diesel. Timing per NFPA 20.
Diesel Battery Start
Two 12V batteries with automatic charger. Up to 6 automatic start attempts (3 per battery) per NFPA 20.
Weekly Test
Weekly automatic diesel engine test scheduling. Ensures system operation and reliability in emergencies.
Fault Monitoring
Detection of: low oil pressure, high temperature, charger failure, low fuel level, electrical phase failure.
Based on FBCN Series, painted in safety red per NR-26
Single-Piece Volute
Spiral cast body with wear ring. Same FBCN series construction, painted in NR-26 red.
Back Pull-Out
Maintenance without disconnecting piping. Impeller, shaft, bearings and packing removable from the rear.
ANSI Flanges
Standardized ANSI B16.1 (125/250 Lb) connections for compatibility with existing piping.
Packing Seal
Packing seal as required for fire pumps. Easy maintenance, high reliability and unable to lock the pump during emergency operation.
